We’d love to be able to order blue skies for everyone’s special events here at Sienna Ranch. Instead, here is some background information that will help you feel comfortable with our policies regarding special events programming and weather.
Birthday Parties, Scout Trips, or Field Trips
SCENARIO 1 – Embrace the Rain! (85% of the time)
At Sienna Ranch, we love nature in all its forms – including a bit of rain! In most cases, your reservation will proceed as planned, so come ready to enjoy your activities, rain or shine! We recommend dressing in cozy layers and bringing along those rain boots to make the most of your day. Don’t worry, many of our areas, including the pavilions, fire deck, and some animal pens, are covered, so you can still have a fantastic time no matter the weather!
SCENARIO 2 – Adjustments Due to Weather (10% of the time)
While we always aim to stick to your scheduled activities, safety is our top priority. If weather conditions become too intense, we may adjust some activities to ensure the safety of both our participants and animals. Rest assured, we’ll do our best to keep the fun going, while keeping everyone safe and comfortable!
SCENARIO 3 – Your Decision to Reschedule or Cancel (4% of the time)
We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may prefer to reschedule or cancel your event. The sooner you let us know, the more flexibility we can offer. Please remember that cancellations or postponements must be submitted via email to [email protected]. SCENARIO 4 – Sienna Ranch Cancels Due to Extreme Weather (1% of the time)
On rare occasions, extreme weather may force us to cancel your event for safety reasons. If that happens, rest assured, we will fully refund your payment, including your deposit. We always aim to make decisions as early as possible to keep you informed and prepared.
