Let’s Play at the Ranch (LPR) Curriculum

SR LPR: Session 1

| #6 | Salt Dough Animal / Pipe Cleaner Spiders |
| #7 | Pipe Cleaner Spiders / Salt Dough Animal |
| #8 | Streamer wands and ranch parade |
Weekly Routine:
| Arrival | Greet students at the benches in the entrance area near the egg/farm stand. First week: make name tags. Optional: have an item in the mystery box for students to feel when they arrive. |
| Circle | Introduce talking object: name, gratitude, nature news, HAZARDS or announcements |
| Garden Time | Water plants by hand with greywater. Visit worms/compost if interested. |
| Mid-Class | Visit at least one animal, complete project, sit on tractor if not in use. |
| End of Class | Closing circle, everyone shares one favorite part of the day and then adds a bead to their name tag necklace. Last week of class– make sure students take name tags home with them. |
