Sienna Ranch is a unique and wonderful place to celebrate your birthday or special occasion. We are excited to help make your day memorable.

Parties are hosted on select Sundays during summertime. Choose 2 one-hour activities and enjoy a half hour of picnic time per event. Parties start at 10:00am, or 1:00pm. Activity selection, group size and pre-existing reservations may affect the timesavailable for booking.

Farm Animal Interaction (ages 4*-12)

For the animal lover in your family, this party gives guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with Sienna Ranch’s lovable animals. Hold the chickens, help collect the eggs we sell during the week, feed the ducks, groom the goats and pony! This party is a very hands-on and interactive experience kids are sure to enjoy.

*Sienna Ranch requires guests be at least four years old to attend a party independently. If a guest is younger than 4, a parent/guardian must attend with the child and will be included in the head count as an additional attendee.

Lizard Adventure (ages 4-12)

Learn everything you’ve always wanted to know about Lizards! Everyone will learn basic lizard facts, go on a lizard hunt and create a lizard castle using natural materials. We’ll see if you can catch our quick Lizard friends!

Nature Games and Tree Climbing (ages 6-12)

Guests ages six and older will love visiting some of Sienna Ranch’s most beloved spots like the swamp and Buckeye Tree en route to playing the most favored games of school year and summer camp. Along the way, discover the skulls, pelts and tracks of the ranch’s nature museum. Games are collaborative and encourage participants to have fun working working as a team. Nature Games is perfectfor active, adventurous groups.

Shelter Building (ages 6-12)

For the explorer or builder in your family, this party gives guests the opportunity to work together and build a survival skill. Groups use critical thinking to learn what aspects impact each step of the shelter building process from choosing a location, deciding which materials to use, technique, the importance of energy conservation in a survival scenario as well as the Leave No Trace ethics of deconstructing structures when leaving an area. This activity will focus on creating a practical debris shelter.

Pioneer Art and Crafts (ages 6+)

Pioneer arts, crafts, and games will be the perfect birthday experience. You will enjoy unique activities including leather stamping necklaces, crafting with wool from our sheep, and creating artwork from natural materials. Our staff bring a passion for youth and animals together in this fantastic program where children will not only build relationships and learn respect for the living creatures at Sienna Ranch, but will also delight in some of the simple pleasures which used to entertain children in times past.

Archery (ages 8-12)

(additional $100 fee for small parties, $175 for large parties)

Our experienced archery instructors will guide guests through the basics of archery safety, shooting form and technique, then guests will hone their aim with target practice on our picturesque archery range.

All people staying on site during the activity portion of your event (adult or child) are considered ‘attendees’. For the safety of our animals (and for logistics in program spaces like the bunny pen, chicken coop, etc.) we thank you for choosing the group size that accurately reflects the number of people you wish to stay on site the full duration of your event.

We reserve our staff based on the event size you select — Large groups will be split between more than one instructor.

Booking a Party

FIRST	Decide which two activities you would like to do at your party.
NEXT	Submit a Summer Event Request Here
THEN	Wait for an email from a Sienna Ranch event scheduler. We will be in touch within a week of submitting your event request form.
LAST	Make a $100 deposit to confirm your reservation on our calendar. This deposit goes toward the balance of your event.

On the day:

1. All guests must sign aRanch Waiver. Save time by asking guests to bring a signed waiver on the day of the event. We will have blank copies printed here for families to fill out at drop off as needed.

2.Everyone should be wearing close-toed shoes to keep feet protected.

3.Guests are to be dropped off at the start of the party and picked up after picnic time concludes at the Party Zone at the front of the property. Adults who wish to remain in the area are encouraged to explore Downtown Lafayette, a short 5 minute drive up the street.

PARTYAGREEMENTS

Check out our Refund and Cancellation Policy before booking.
Your $100 deposit due upon booking is non-refundable and non-transferrable. We run program rain or shine.
Party balance is due in full the Monday before the party. We will plan to charge the card on record unless you call ahead to make payment in another way.
Emergency cancellation (anytime week before field trip and UPuntil noon of Friday prior) submit email requesting cancellation and forfeit 50% the cost of your party.
No shows or cancellations after noon on Friday- NOREFUND available.
Sienna Ranch reserves the right to modify party activities based on weather or safety. This may include substituting Pony Rides for another activity. If a substitution means that a ‘premium’ activity cannot be delivered, the premium fee will be refunded.
Sienna Ranch is a drug and alcohol-free campus.
Sienna Ranch requires chaperonesto supervise all participants while playing on play structures.
Sienna Ranch honors scheduling and pricing quoted in Event Agreement.
Sienna Ranch is a balloon-free and decoration-lite campus (to keep our animals healthy).
Sienna Ranch requires at least 21 days notice by email to change the size of your event (space-dependent, not guaranteed).
Sienna Ranch does not allow non-ranch animals on property (with the exception of pre-arranged service animals).

We strongly prefer you contact us with questions during business hours since your contract and our calendar are readily available during those times. Emergency contact information available on ranch voicemail (925) 283-6311 if you have concerns outside business hours. Contacting emergency numbers may require you to leave a voicemail/receive callback.

FAQ’S

1. Can we bring our own food?

Yes! Sienna Ranch provides the location, the staff, goodie bags and the activity- all food is provided by the party host. If you would like to order pizza delivery, we have had great success ordering from local pizza shops.

2. Do you have a refrigerator or freezer for us to store cake or ice cream?

Unfortunately we do not have a refrigerator or freezer available for use. Ice chests work great!

3. Are siblings charged?

Yes- all children (walking toddlers-16 years) are considered participants, as are any adults participating as caregivers to guests age 3 or younger.

4. Can we shorten or lengthen activity times?

No, our parties are specifically designed to fit into the allotted time.

5. What if I only have 11 attendees- am I still charged for a large party?

Yes. The size of our program spaces (spots at the archery range, tables in the woodshop, number of riders per hour of pony rides) and need to keep group sizes small around animals (to keep them calm and you having the best experience possible) create finiteratios that help us reserve one or two instructors for your party therefore requiring a flat rate for either a small (up to 10 attendees) or large party (11-20 attendees).

6. What if it rains? What about extreme heat?

Sienna Ranch staff are prepared to hold parties rain or shine; please see our Weekend Weather Page for more information. Most activities are outdoors, so we recommend you ask your guests to wear appropriate rain gear.

7. What if I need to cancel? Can I use my deposit for another Sienna Ranch program?

No, unfortunately the $100 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

8. Can I change my dates?

We will try! With 21 days notice, you may request a date change and our staff will make every effort to accommodate your request. Note: there is a new $100 deposit due for any new date reserved.

In the event we are unable to find an alternate date, the original reservation will remain valid unless the party is canceled.
