Scholarship opportunities
Sienna Ranch aims to lower barriers and provide financial assistance to ensure more families can access our programs. We are grateful to offer support and encourage those in need to apply.

Emilie Inman Fund: Advancing Equity and Inclusivity in her Honor
Emilie Inman was particularly interested in bringing equity to education. She was vocal in supporting a new scholarship program, which Sienna Ranch was in the preliminary stages of developing at the time of her death. Sienna Ranch has named this scholarship program in her honor.
Emilie Juliette Inman (1989-2017)
Emilie Inman was a brilliant, passionate, creative teacher and a sparkling, joyful, sincere person who worked at Sienna Ranch from the Fall of 2014 until January 2017. As one parent said, “She brought a light to her subject, and her passion shone through her work.”
Another parent of one of Emilie’s special needs students shared, “Emilie knew just how to transport this diverse group of friends from one world to another filled with fascinating plants, fuzzy-tailed friends, mud puddles, hillside daydream, and original songs she had written. As the group evolved to include more students from our extended community, Emilie continued to embrace ALL children, especially those with special and complex needs.”
Emilie challenged her students and her coworkers to be their best selves, to live life bravely and beautifully. The memories of the compassion and conviction with which she lived her life will continue to serve as enduring lessons to all those who knew her.
“Emilie’s love, kindness and passion for teaching our children will forever be a part of our lives,” said one parent, and it is in Emilie’s honor that Sienna Ranch now offers scholarship programming to students who may not otherwise be able to attend Sienna Ranch classes or camps.

Step 1: Completing the online application.
Step 2: Applicants should expect to receive notification about their scholarship award status within three weeks of the application deadline. If a scholarship has been awarded the email will provide more specific information about the level of scholarship awarded and what next steps the applicant needs to take to complete payment for the course. To finalize enrollment/registration, applicants must pay the remaining balance (if applicable) or enroll in a payment plan.
Step 3: Once the scholarship is awarded the Business Operations Manager will assist the family with registration for interested classes/camps and will allocate the scholarship on the family account. If a partial scholarship is awarded the family is responsible for paying the remaining amount.
Scholarships will be awarded through the Sienna Ranch Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. Awards can vary from year to year. Scholarships granted DO NOT carry forward from year to year. Families with continuing need must reapply for each round offered. Funds may not be transferred to other applicants.
Our current funding cycle will be prioritizing families with financial need. Additionally, the DEI Council may weigh applications for marginalized groups including but not limited to BIPOC, LGBTQIA, persons with limited mobility, Native American or indigenous, recent immigrant, refugee, homeless, foster youth, single parents, etc.
