The art of process
Working with clay can be tricky—pieces crack, cups break, and glazes don’t always turn out as expected. But in our pottery classes, it’s not just about the end result. It’s about embracing the process. Working with clay is about discovering how to adapt to the material’s surprises, and building confidence as you work through mistakes. We encourage creativity, problem-solving, and learning through challenges. Clay teaches resilience, confidence, and how to adapt when things don’t go as planned. Here, mistakes are opportunities to grow, experiment, and have fun!
Our Critters and Clay (K-6th) classes are available throughout the school year.
Students in our Nature Classes (PreK-9th) also have the opportunity to handbuild in select sessions. Contact us to learn more about our Pottery Programs
