Nature connection

Ranch Play

Children age 3-4 and their adult join our naturalist educators for animal visits, garden tending, nature crafts and ranch story time.

Junior Ranchers

Early childhood class focused on exploration, foundational nature-based learning, and unstructured play for Prek-1st Graders.

Explorers

Sienna Ranch’s core class for 1st-6th Graders offers seasonal curriculum of nature-based crafts, wilderness skill development, and social-emotional learning.

Nature Sages

The 7th-9th Grade Sages class provides a capstone experience for teens, emphasizing leadership development, peer mentorship, and in-depth learning in ecology and environmental stewardship.

Trail Ramblers

Designed as a companion to our nature classes for 3rd-8th Graders, Trail Ramblers is a hiking and hand-on skill based program designed to get kids exploring out on trail.

Archery Adventures

3rd-8th Graders build hand-eye coordination, learn about proper archery techniques, and enjoy team games at the archery shooting range.

Critters & Clay

Hand-building pottery class for K-6th grade students teaches creativity, fine motor skills, and artistic expression through fun, nature-inspired clay projects.

Foodie Farmers

K-6th Grade food education class teaches kids gardening principles like composting, companion planting, and plant growth, while exploring cooking concepts and making local, seasonal recipes.

K-6th Grade woodworking class offers free-build and guided projects, teaching kids building techniques while creating nature-inspired objects and developing engineering and and artistic design skills.

Horse Connection

A non-riding equine class for K-6th Graders that teaches horse behavior, health, and caretaking, while focusing on student mindfulness practices and confidence building.

Private Riding

Foundational beginner riding lessons for ages 6-15.

Social Group

A class for 2nd-6th Graders designed to support nature connection, physical movement, and peer interaction for neurodiverse students.

Farm Hands Apprentice

This leadership class in our Session 4 prepares students ages 13-15 to participate as summer camp apprentices in our Farm Hands classes. Learn how to lead nature games, mentor younger students, and build confidence.

Animal Apprentice

For ages 14-16 our afterschool animal apprentice class merges learning through science and hands-on livestock tending with our sheep and goat herds.

Equine Apprentice

This horse handling class educates students age 14-16 on proper handling and care for horses in preparation for our summer camp equine apprenticeship program.

Everything Ranch Class

Designed as a year-long commitment class, Everything Ranch Classes for ages Prek-9th offer a unique experience for students to learn throughout the seasons at the ranch.
